High school Informatics "Grigore Moisil" Iasi it was initiated in 1971 and now displayed for outstanding performances every discipline of study. The school is demonstrated both by the large number of awards competitions for students and school Olympiads as well as the high rate of those who continued their studies at universities and colleges from different specialties in the country and abroad. A number meant for high school graduates have made their presence known in countries in North America, Western Europe, Japan or even working at prestigious firms like Microsoft USA (23) or Red Hat.

High school graduates ensure his obtaining a certificate of competent professional computer operating and medium-level programming.

In 1976 was made in the current building of the school, located in an area particularly beautiful in Copou. At present the high school has:

• 27 classrooms ;
• 8 laboratories performing with computers and Internet access;
• Physics laboratory;
• Chime laboratory;
• Offices of Modern Languages;
• 1 amphitheatre;
• a modern gymnasium equipped;
• 2 sports;
• a library;
• home and cafeteria;
• heating own.

In 1994 in our high school was established first class gymnasium, there is now 8 secondary school classes and 21 high school classes.

In 2009 students have earned 411 awards  at olympiads and contests.

In the 2009-2010 school year high school works with:
